How to Scan QR Codes with Twitter
In a previous article, I explained how I discovered the hidden QR Code reader that was in the Twitter native mobile app. In this post I am going to show you the following:- How to find the hidden QR Code scanner in the Twitter app,
- How to generate your very own Twitter QR that leads people directly to your Twitter profile, and
- How to scan QR Codes using the Twitter mobile app!
Here are the steps to finding the hidden QR Code reader in the Twitter mobile app:
- First, if you don’t already have the native Twitter mobile app, download it from the app store.
- Next, log in (or join Twitter)
- Once you have logged in, tap on you profile icon on the top left corner of the Twitter mobile app.
How to scan generate your very own Twitter QR Code
To generate your very own Twitter QR Code, tap on the small, white QR Code on the bottom right side of the screen.
Here’s advanced tip: tap on your QR Code to change the color! I have included a few screenshots below!
How to Scan QR Codes with Twitter
Scanning QR Codes with the Twitter app is fun and easy!
- Step one: open the Twitter mobile app
- Step 2: tap on your profile image which is located in the top left corner
- Step 3: tap on the QR Code that is dlsplayed on the bottom right corner
- Step 4: tap on the QR code icon in the middle of the screen which is actually at the very bottom of the page
- Finally, place your phone’s camera over the QR Code you wish to scan, once you confirm the page the QR Code is programmed for your phone will then display the content!
